Specialising in the acquisition and disposal of commercial and retail properties, as well as commercial and retail leasing, I have over 20 years’ experience in property law and the real estate sector. I co-lead of the firm’s Property Group.

Helping clients structure contracts for new projects and re-developments, strata titled developments, and property transactions, I work regularly with freehold and other tenure whether it be leasehold, deed of grant on trust, reserves or trustee leases.

My clients include property developers, business owners, property investors, landlords and tenants, large not-for-profit organisations, schools and education operators, churches, retirement village operators, property owners and individuals.

An expert in the provision of legal services for not-for-profit organisations in their property issues, I provide advice to church-based organisations in the education, health, retirement, aged care and community sectors.

As one of 29 lawyers accredited as a specialist by the Queensland Law Society in property law, I have been accredited since 2013 and was the recipient of the Highest Achiever Award.

Since 2016, I have featured in Doyle’s Guide and Best Lawyers Australia as a leader in property law.

I am a member of the Property Council of Australia and the Urban Development Institute of Australia.

Appointed to the Lexon Advisory Panel, I author the “Leasing Risk Tools” for Lexon Insurance. Lexon is the primary insurer of legal firms in Queensland.
