Martin Stark is the Founder and CEO of the not-for-profit company World Gay Boxing Championships Ltd, an LGBTQI+ Advocate, Courage Champion and Inclusion Practitioner. Martin is passionate about Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Social Justice and Fairness, is a seasoned commercial negotiator and Supplier Diversity Expert with 15-years’ experience as an IT Strategic Sourcing Leader. Martin is the Founding Member of the Yarning Circle and is a Pride Inclusion Advocate for Pride Life Global.
World Gay Boxing Championships (WGBC) is a straight-friendly, LGBTQI+ inclusive organisation aiming to introduce boxing to LGBTQI+ and society at large in a challenging, enjoyable and safe environment. Our goal is to hold a safe and successful boxing championship in Sydney in February 2023 to coincide with the city hosting Mardi Gras and World Pride. By doing this, we aim to disrupt and end homophobia and transphobia in sport.
A monthly online forum hosted by Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion professionals. Each forum focuses on a current and/or leading edge topic(s) with thought leadership from national and international speakers. It is an interactive event that encourages participants to contribute thoughts and ideas via the chat, poll and break out room functions. The forum is wholeheartedly centred on making a positive and collaborative change in the world.
