NewAudio builds loudspeakers that make it easier to hear audio, so that the listener can hear more detail and with greater clarity. In particular, our speakers help the hearing impaired to improve their listening experience. For example, we have found that many people who previously needed captions enabled on their TV, were now able to switch them off when listening through our speakers.
In October 2019, I presented at the Independent Audiologists Australia (IAA) seminar on Hearables & Over the Counter Devices, and NewAudio now partners with audiologists throughout Australia and New Zealand.
We are aiming to license our technology across a number of industries and applications, from smartphones through to PA systems. This year, our Emergence AS8 speakers will be used as a PA system for one of the venues at the Woodford Folk Festival, with the goal to use them on all 22 stages at the 2020 festival.
